Carol M. Bordua, CPDT-KA
I have been helping people develop well-mannered dogs for over 25 years. My specialty is teaching the pet owner how to develop their dog’s social skills so that he is a pleasure to be around at home as well as in public. My training philosophy is based on the belief that training dogs and teaching people should be positive and fun. Training should be something that we do with our dogs, not something that we do to them. My love of dogs together with proven training techniques, provides a training environment that both owners and their dogs will enjoy. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers. I regularly attend training seminars, conferences, and camps to continue to advance my teaching skills and to keep apprised of current training trends and techniques. The major reason dogs end up in humane shelters, re-homed, even euthanized, is due to behavior problems. Behavior problems that could most likely have been prevented if they would have been provided with basic training. Quite literally, training can save a dog’s life!
